NetOne has launched a new Value Bundle promotion offering 1GB of data for $1, valid until midnight on the day of purchase, as part of efforts to improve affordability and access to mobile internet.
The bundle is available via OneMoney and through airtime conversion using *379#, allowing customers to activate it through multiple channels. Users can also purchase the bundle multiple times in a single day, depending on their data needs.
The promotion, which runs until 31 May 2026, is aimed at providing flexible, low-cost connectivity for everyday use, particularly for customers who may not require larger data packages.
In addition to the new bundle, NetOne has removed peak and off-peak data distinctions across its offerings, introducing a unified data system that allows usage at any time without restrictions.
Under the revised structure, existing packages such as Mo’Gigs and Big Beautiful Bundles now provide a single data balance usable throughout the day. Mo’Gigs bundles range from 5GB for $7 to 50GB for $50, while Big Beautiful Bundles include options such as 100GB for $45, 150GB for $80, and 200GB for $130.
The changes reflect a broader shift towards simplified pricing and more flexible data usage. The shift to remove peak and off-peak bundles is especially reflective of the latter point, as the mobile operator caved in to the complaints of customers saying such bundles had become disruptive to their data usage schedules they had always been accustomed to.
