Since his humble beginnings in comedy, The Preacherman’s material has always been centered around religion, and this latest show is a further exploration of his trademark church-related comedy.

"The title of our upcoming show was inspired by my love for church and how I want more people to come to church. It is wonderful to worship in the house of God with other believers," said The Preacherman.

The show will feature performances from comics and gospel musicians namely Chipenzi da Comedian, Nevile the Entertainer, Trust K, Nyasha, Shema Maposa and Big Star Nash the Saxophonist.

The Preacherman recently headlined the ‘Now That l’m Married’ comedy night last month, but he promised a different delivery for this upcoming show; considering that a mature audience is set to attend.

"There are going to be changes from the last show, the content and audience will be different. More elderly people will be present and we are going to explore a whole new dimension of church comedy with this one," he described.

The comic aspires to spread the gospel through standup comedy, as he explained; "I believe comedy is a calling and will definitely use my platform to share the Gospel more and more."

The Preacherman promised to deliver a night of laughter, whilst also educating fans on the gospel. "On 8 August, fans must expect a lot of laughs, and more importantly they should look forward to learning a thing or two," he concluded.
