HARARE – Zimbabwe’s premier live music and urban culture festival, Unplugged, makes its highly anticipated return this summer with an electrifying edition set to redefine year-end entertainment. The iconic festival comes back stronger than ever, delivering a masterfully curated blend of world class live music, urban culture, and the relaxed, family friendly atmosphere that has made it a staple on the country’s social calendar.
On Sunday, 21 December 2025, music lovers, food enthusiasts, and lifestyle seekers will converge at First Capital Bank Sports Club in Mount Pleasant for a full day outdoor experience running from 12PM to 10PM. The lush open air venue, coupled with Unplugged’s signature aesthetic and vibrant ambience, promises an unforgettable summer escape.
This year’s headline act is the celebrated South African house and soul duo Liquideep, renowned across the continent for their timeless catalogue of emotional, groove rich hits. Their return to Zimbabwe is set to deliver a standout performance that encapsulates the depth and musical excellence that fans have missed.
Unplugged 2025 also showcases an exceptional roster of Zimbabwe’s finest talent, reflecting the festival’s continued commitment to spotlighting both established stars and the rising new wave. The lineup features breakthrough hip hop sensation Sane Wav, fan favourite performer Saintfloew, award-winning guitarist Sylent Nqo, charismatic vocalist Delroy Shewe, and emerging R&B/soul powerhouses Melyssa and Saiiren.
On the decks, attendees can expect dynamic sets from some of Zimbabwe’s most promising young DJs Madeherbelieve, Ropa, and DJ Joe – with MC Tatts steering the energy throughout the day.
As always, Unplugged maintains its relaxed, community-centred ethos with cooler boxes allowed, re-entry permitted, and a wide selection of gourmet food and beverage options. The festival continues to offer a premium yet accessible experience where music, culture, and style converge.
