Long-standing rapper Innocent Stambuli, better known as Sinbad 90, has released a brand-new six-track EP titled Positive Vibes, marking the start of an ambitious plan to drop a new EP every month this year.

Conversing with ZimSphere, Sinbad 90 described the project as spiritually inspired, aimed at promoting self-love and radiating uplifting energy.

"The new EP draws its inspiration from calling from the above and the message is clear; this is about spreading self-love and positive vibes to the world," he said.

Each track on the Positive Vibes EP carries a unique message. Chikoko is a cautionary tale about betrayal from family and friends, warning listeners to stay alert and not fully trust anyone in their inner circle. Gudo Remugomo is a “gangster love” track, telling the story of a relationship strained by jealous friends.

Tungamirai comes in as a prayerful appeal for success in life, while KD Golden City resembles a  personal song about taking his partner to his hometown of Kadoma to meet his family and friends. Ndirege Ndifare is definitely a party anthem celebrating joy and ffreedm; and closing the EP is Mari Yakawanda, a hustler's anthem nudging listeners to chase their bag.

While the EP features beats from a variety of producers – including Anjae, It'sbryne (Kadoma), Scarry Stotter (Harare), I Pro, Steppa Bantan (Zambia), and Bleswyn Kays – Sinbad 90 personally produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered 80% of the project.

“I got beats from unsung producers… but I produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered 80% of the project,” he noted.

Sinbad 90 says Positive Vibes is more than just music, asserting it’s a movement to shift the mood in the streets.

“The only thing I'm going to change on this item is the atmosphere. I'm here to spread positive energy, removing all grudges and hatred in the streets,” he said.

“So I came with hood meditation music so fans feel at ease after listening to it. If you're hungry, you'll be fed; if you're broke, you'll make money.”

He also revealed that each EP will be a fresh experience, with no repetitive formulas.

“I will be releasing an EP every month-end this year. The tracklist is just a random picking from my studio hard drive – it's the Bhundu lifestyle,” he explained.

“We’re balancing consistency. It’s like eating sadza daily; same staple, different taste every time. It’s a different vibration. What you hear on this EP is different from the next, but the vibes will still be positive. It's all love.”

For fans looking to stay connected, Sinbad 90 promises plenty of exclusive behind-the-scenes content and live performance footage via his social media platforms.

“I encourage everyone to follow my social media pages, that is Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube , so they won't miss out,” he said.

“I'll be posting my live performances in Zambia, Zimbabwe, and other parts of the world. Fans too can share on my platforms. I read all comments.”
