The double book launch will be held at Zimworx Fun Zone, Second floor Joina City; with festivities starting at 1730hrs.
Masigale is an award winning author, mental health advocate, certified life coach, licensed counselor and public speaker. From humble beginnings in the rural community of Murehwa, Masigale’s dedication to empowering others to live emotionally healthy, purpose-driven and impactful lives has earned her recognition beyond the country’s borders. In 2025, she won at the African Christian Authors Book Awards (ACABA) under the Mental Health and Addictions category. She has also been nominated at this year’s SADC Keturah Mental Health Awards.
In an exclusive interview with ZimSphere, Masigale described the two books as the result two different but deeply spiritual journeys. Combining her own experiences, as well as advice from mentors and peers, she was able to create two faith-based motivational books that will inspire readers.
Her first book, Rooted before Rising, is a guide for young adults navigating the quiet work of becoming. In a culture that celebrates visibility before maturity, the book calls for depth before display and formation before recognition. Structured metaphorically around the Four Seasons: Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring–the book thoroughly explores the experiences of each phase.
“The title was born from the realization that lasting success is never built on visibility alone. It is built on what happens beneath the surface. Just as a tree develops deep roots before it grows tall, I believe God shapes our character, heals our wounds, and establishes our identity before entrusting us with greater purpose. This book is an invitation to embrace that hidden season instead of rushing it," she explained.
Rooted before Rising urges adolescent youth to value the work that brings the success rather than be allured by the spectacle of success. “Many people celebrate the spotlight but ignore the sacrifice that comes before it. This book refuses to separate purpose from preparation because rising without character, healing, and wisdom often leads to collapse. Sustainable success is built long before it is seen,” said Masigale.
While working on the book, the author herself experienced self-doubt. Instead of giving up, Masigale chose faith and perseverance; making the message behind the book became even more authentic. “There were moments when life felt uncertain and I questioned whether I was qualified to write about purpose while navigating my own waiting season,” she said.” Yet those very experiences became proof that the message was authentic. I was not writing from perfection but from a journey of faith, healing, and perseverance.”
The second book, Heart-Spill of a Believer, is a reflective and spiritually anchored collection of poems centred on legacy, faith, identity and God's unwavering mercy. The collection of poems emphasizes honesty over perfection in prayer, as Masigale explained, “Heart-spill of a Believer reflects the honest outpouring of a believer's heart before God. It is a reminder that faith is not only expressed through polished prayers but also through raw emotions, questions, worship, and surrender.”
To conclude, Masigale described the writing process for Heart-Spill of a Believer, “I felt a deep longing for God's presence, alongside moments of joy, pain, hope, and unanswered questions. It’s these emotions that overflowed onto the pages. Writing became my way of worshiping, processing, and trusting God through every season.”
If you're looking to navigate the complexities of modern day life, then these two books will give you a faith-based guideline to improve your life.
