Music Review: Eden Lang wishes she could turn back time in ‘Maiwee’

EDEN LANG released her latest single Maiwee on the 23rd of February 2024 and the track captures fealty to the supposition of turning back the clock in order to rectify a past mistake, endorsing regret. 

Regret is both an emotional and cognitive sense of emotion of disappointment or sadness about an action taken or not taken.

More than that the meaning of the song itself, the hook/chorus in particular, is encouragement for us to bear our weights by taking and accepting more responsibility for what we say and do as well as learn from mistakes.

Throughout the rest of the song, Eden continually admits her shortcomings about having been hurtful and would like to wait and change things if possible.

Eden Lang is a brilliant, intelligent singer-songwriter and incredible storyteller who crafts songs and animated visualizers for her beautiful music.
