Durham Cricket set to tour Zimbabwe in preparation for 2024 season

English county side Durham Cricket is all set to make its way back to Zimbabwe for their pre-season activities following their victorious 2023 title campaign. 

Durham Cricket will tour Zimbabwe for their preseason preparations. 

The team is scheduled to depart for Harare on February 19th, commencing a thrilling three-week journey filled with a series of competitive red and white-ball fixtures alongside rigorous training sessions in preparation for the 2024 season 

The squad's itinerary includes an engaging lineup of matches, starting with two intensive three-day warm-up encounters, paving the way for their participation in the esteemed Zimbabwe domestic T20 tournament. 

This challenging series of games will provide the players with ample opportunities to fine-tune their skills and acclimatize to the conditions on Zimbabwean soil.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the upcoming tour, Marcus North, the Director of Cricket, shared his excitement: “We are thrilled to announce our return to Zimbabwe for our pre-season tour following a gracious invitation from Zimbabwe Cricket. Last year's visit was a remarkable experience for the team, laying the foundation for our successful 2023 season.”

Notably, the team displayed stellar performance during their previous tour, emerging victorious in all matches.
