Born on 10 March 1955 in Mutare, Zimbabwe, Bob Nyabinde's journey to musical greatness began in the most humble of settings. After completing his education at Mutare Teacher's College, he dedicated himself to educating the young minds of Zimbabwe. 

However, it soon became clear that his true passion lay in the realm of music. Even as a teacher, Bob relentlessly pursued his musical dreams, showcasing his incredible talent and extraordinary ability to captivate audiences with his soul-stirring melodies.

In 2003, Nyabinde made history with the release of his debut album, 'Panenyaya'. This album would prove to be a game-changer for the musician, with hit songs such as ‘Chabuda Hapana' and 'Mombe Yasamanyika' becoming fan favorites. 

Their popularity not only catapulted Bob Nyabinde into the spotlight but also earned him the prestigious ZIMA award for Best Afro-Jazz Artist. It was a well-deserved recognition for his exceptional talent and commitment to his craft. 

Throughout his career, Nyabinde treated fans to a multitude of albums that showcased his versatility and skill. From the emotionally charged Ndiratidze Mumwe Chete (2004) to the infectious beats of Teerera (2006) and the soulful melodies of Hama (2013), each album demonstrated his prowess as a musician and his ability to connect with his audience on a deep, emotional level.
