The trio represents a powerful cross-section of Zimbabwean creativity: luxury African design, sustainability-led streetwear, and regenerative textile artistry. Together, they bring distinct perspectives that highlight the depth and diversity of Zimbabwe’s fashion identity.
Two of the participating designers, Charmaine Nziradzemhuka and Ropafadzo Mapira, are alumni of Paper Bag Africa’s I Wear My Culture initiative, a British Council–supported project that celebrates African heritage and contemporary craftsmanship. Their participation this year marks a continued investment in cultural storytelling and cross-border creative collaboration.
