Yolanda is an internationally acclaimed model, actress, philanthropist, and shoe designer who has seamlessly bridged the worlds of entertainment, education, and advocacy. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance, she embodies the spirit of the modern Zimbabwean woman: intelligent, ambitious, and socially conscious.

Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Yolanda’s journey has been one of unwavering dedication. She co-founded Help a Child Save a Nation (HACSAN), a non-profit that provides tuition funding to 11 schools in Mashonaland Central Province, transforming lives through education. Her advocacy extends globally — she has spoken as a United Nations panelist in Canada on education access in Africa and serves as a Youth Ambassador for the Rick Hansen Foundation, amplifying issues of equality and opportunity.

Her work in the creative industry has also reached impressive heights. Signed under Swish Model Management in Canada, Yolanda has appeared in several international film productions, including “Windfall,” “Finally Caught,” “The Rabbit Hunter,” and “The Day My Job Tried to Kill Me.”

She also lends her voice to two characters in Disney’s “Supa Strikas”, further proving her versatility as an artist.

Her accolades speak volumes:

  • Top 3 Most Influential Youth in Canada (2022)
  • Top 100 Female African Change Makers (South Africa)
  • World Championships of Performing Arts (USA) – Gold Medal Winner (2018)
  • Miss Intercontinental Zimbabwe (2022) – Top 3 in Africa, Top 20 globally
  • Miss International Zimbabwe (2025) – representing Zimbabwe on the world stage
  • Zimbabwe Teen Model of the Year (2017) and Most Influential Teen (2018)

Her participation in Miss International—one of the world’s “Big Four” pageants alongside Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth—positions her as a national ambassador of Zimbabwean culture, creativity, and progress.

Speaking ahead of the competition, Yolanda shared:

Representing Zimbabwe on such a prestigious global platform is a dream come true. I carry with me the stories of my people, the resilience of my mother, and the courage of every young girl who believes she can change her world. My advocacy for education and empowerment is rooted in love — love for my country and love for humanity.

Miss Zimbabwe Trust Director Patience Lusengo praised Yolanda’s achievement, saying:

Yolanda is a reflection of the Zimbabwe we are proud to share with the world — intelligent, compassionate, and determined. She represents the future of Zimbabwean women who are leading globally while staying rooted in their values. We encourage the nation to rally behind her as she carries our flag with grace and purpose.
