2024 Zimbabwe PSL Matchday 4 Review: Dynamos gets first victory of the campaign; FC Platinum and Highlanders continue winning run

THE fourth round of the 2024 Castle Premier Soccer League season saw Dynamos get the better of newbies Bikita Minerals to register their first win of the season. 

Ngezi Platinum also secured their first victory after edging Manica Diamonds 1-0.

In Gweru, Highlanders beat TelOne by 2-0 to maintain their winning run. 

Goals from Lynoth Chikuhwa – who is in some fine vein of form – and Brighton Ncube ensured the Bulawayo giants stayed as joint leaders of the league with FC Platinum; the latter who also won on Monday.

The Platinum Boys edged Herentals 1-0, through Brian Banda's second half strike.

Both Highlanders and FC Platinum are now tied on ten points and only separated by goal difference.

Chegutu Pirates got their first win of the season as they defeated Greenfuel by a goal to nil.

Elsewhere, Caps United got back to winning ways after beating Arenel Movers 3-1, while Bulawayo Chiefs cruised past Yadah FC by a 3-1 victory. 

Simba Bhora won their tie against Hwange by one goal to nil.
