HARARE – Wilfred Muvirimi’s brace ensured back to back wins for FC Platinum after beating champions Ngezi Platinum Stars at Baobab Stadium on Saturday.
In Bulawayo, Dynamos fans expressed their dissatisfaction and even went as far as calling for coach Genesis ‘Kaka’ Mangombe’s sacking only two games into the season.
The Harare giants floundered a two-goal lead to settle for only a point in a 2-2 draw against Hwange at Barbourfields Stadium.
Lloyd Chitembwe received a red card in the final stages of the game as CAPS United bullied past Herentals at Nyamhunga Stadium in Kariba with a convincing 2-0 win.
The Green Machine got their goals from Ralph Kawondera and Rodwell Chinyengetere, one apiece in each half.
On Sunday, a goalfrom Lynoth Chikuhwa and a Never Rauzhi conversion from the spot kick ensured Bulawayo Chiefs and Highlanders derby ended in a draw.
Elsewhere, at Baobab Stadium, Chegutu Pirates lost 1-0 to ZPC Kariba.
