The 24-year-old Udinese defender found the back of the net with a stunning shot that soared into the top corner in the 14th minute, securing a 1-1 draw against Cagliari on Saturday.

Born in England to Zimbabwean parents, Sharon and Seymour, who emigrated to the UK shortly before his birth in 1999, Zemura has been making waves in the football world.

His journey from the English Premier League to Serie A has been nothing short of remarkable.

After moving from Bournemouth in 2023, he joined Udinese on a free transfer, signing a long-term deal that will see him at the club until 30 June 2027.

Zemura's prowess isn't limited to club football.

He has also represented Zimbabwe on the international stage, playing two matches at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals held in Cameroon.

He featured in the 1-2 loss to Malawi and the 2-1 victory over Guinea.

This goal marks a significant milestone not only for Zemura but also for Zimbabwean football, highlighting the growing influence of African players in top-tier European leagues.

And this is something really commendable. We love it.
