CCC recalls 13 more MPs and five senators

Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) has recalled 13 more legislators in the National Assembly and five senators at the instigation of self-proclaimed interim secretary general Sengezo Tshabangu as chaos continues to wreak havoc within the party.

Speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda announced the parliamentary recalls in the National Assembly on Tuesday.

But the move was immediately challenged by one of the recalled legislators, Daniel Molokele, who said the High Court had issued an order earlier on Tuesday barring any further recalls.

Mudenda said he would make a ruling on the matter once he received a copy of the court order.

The recalled MPs in the National Assembly include party deputy spokesperson Mr Gift Siziba and organising secretary Mr Amos Chibaya, and the Senators include Jameson Timba and Vongai Tome.
