According to the MoU, eight talented young cricketers from Zimbabwe will embark on a four-month player development program at the Lahore Qalandars’s high-performance center in Lahore, commencing on September 1st, 2023.

In return, the Qalandars will send five fast bowlers from Pakistan, capable of bowling at speeds exceeding 140 kilometers per hour, to participate in domestic cricket in Zimbabwe.

The selection for the four-month developmental program in Lahore was made through a nationwide talent search conducted by the Qalandars.

These players were initially scouted for the inaugural edition of the Zim Afro T10 tournament, which concluded on the 29th of July (with the Durban Qalandars emerging victorious).

The selected players include Tinotenda Maposa, Tawanda Maposa, Tanunurwa Makoni, Marshal Takodza, Brighton Phiri, Lennox Chando, Davis Murwendo, and Alex Falao.
