Shashl’s 2026 performance schedule has increasingly reflected the growing international footprint of Zimbabwean musicians, with the singer taking her music to audiences across Africa, Europe and Australia within the first months of the year.

The Afro-soul artist, born Ashleigh Angel Moyo, has performed in Zimbabwe, South Africa, Australia and the United Kingdom so far this year, as she continues to strengthen her presence on diaspora and international entertainment platforms. Which is in the broader context of Zimbabwean artists enjoying favourable performances beyond the country's borders.

Among her recent appearances was the ZimLinkUp concert in Birmingham, United Kingdom, where she became the first female artist to feature on the event’s lineup. She is also set to perform at the Zimbabwe Heritage Show in Milton Keynes later this month.

In March, Shashl performed at the debut edition of Ama2K Fest in Zimbabwe alongside Nigerian artist Ruger and several local acts. Earlier in the year, she also appeared at the Hustle and Heritage show which featured American rapper Rick Ross among other performers.

Beyond Zimbabwe, the singer recently headlined performances at the Hard Rock Cafe in Johannesburg, South Africa, and at Subiaco Pub & Grill in Perth, Australia.

The performances come during a new phase in the artist’s career following a management partnership with renowned talent manager Diana Elisha Nheera.

Shashl said the year has been centred on expanding her reach and connecting with audiences in different markets.

“This year has been about showing up fully on every stage, in every city, for every fan who believes in this journey,” she said.

The singer is among a growing number of Zimbabwean artists increasingly performing abroad through diaspora-focused concerts and international festival circuits.

Shashl rose to prominence after becoming the first Zimbabwean female musician signed to Universal Music Africa. She has also received multiple National Arts Merit Awards nominations in recent years.
