Burgeoning ZimDancehall producer and deejay DJ Inno (real name Innocent Chitanhike) has once again flaunted his rich endowment of sonic gifts with the release of a new riddim called Summer Festive Riddim.
DJ Inno — who revels in the moniker ‘youngest and baddest’, similar to Blot, and ‘chino nechino’ — is an incredibly gifted musician whose current achievements and infinite potentialities break the confines of the sky. His sound is pristine; laden with impeccable quality exuded through swirling drums, heavy bass-line, alluring kicks and hi-hats, and probing snares.
He embodies the pure ZimDancehall sound that had, for one reason or another, become conspicuously absent in the game.
The latest 2022 ZimDancehall riddim, Summer Festive, shows DJ Inno at his marvellous best. With enough persistence and material support, DJ Inno’s studio in Mbare may as well rise to become the largest hub and music factory of hard-hitting ZimDancehall tunes.
The riddim also shows Inno’s unwavering commitment towards elevating the music talents of young people not only in Mbare but from all areas of the country.
Summer Festive Riddim by Inno features Silent Killer, Jah Child, Jah Tee, Blocker, Bugger B, Gombiro President, Guzman, Lion King, Souljah Fire, Sprager, Technique, and Yung Kruger. We expect more names to hop on the riddim too.
And we absolutely love all the well-thought messages preached by these respective artists on the riddim. It’s a sound for the festive season.
